Afghan American Development Group Website
Project Overview
The Afghan American Development Group (AADG) needed a website to effectively communicate their mission of supporting former Afghan Air Force and Special Mission Wing personnel now living in the United States. The goal was to create an informative, accessible platform where supporters could learn about the organization, contribute to its mission, and access resources for Afghan allies in need.
AADG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting approximately 600 former Afghan military personnel who served alongside the U.S. military in the war on terror. These individuals, now in the United States, face challenges in resettlement, employment, and community integration. AADG works to provide resources, advocacy, and support to help them build new lives while honoring their service and sacrifice.
As the developer on this project, I was responsible for building a responsive, user-friendly website that highlights AADG’s mission, encourages community engagement, and provides easy access to donation and support opportunities. I worked closely with the team to ensure the site effectively conveyed the organization’s purpose while maintaining a clean, professional design.
Mission-Driven Design: A structured layout that clearly communicates AADG’s goals and initiatives.
Donation Integration: A seamless online donation system to support fundraising efforts.
Resource Hub: A dedicated section for Afghan allies to access assistance and information.
SEO & Accessibility Enhancements: Optimized content to improve visibility and user experience.
Mobile-First Development: Ensuring usability across all devices.
